December updates, improvements and fixes
New
-
New scheduling flow!!! Now you can customize the media in each post depending on the social platform. You can post square to IG, landscape to FB etc. Very easy to use and much cleaner UI.
-
Now you can save the caption on your media before scheduling. When you drag your media to the calendar it will auto insert the caption you created. Just head to your media library, and click the "Add Caption" button under your media.
-
Button to copy media from one social to all other socials. For example, if you resize the Instagram image, you can copy it to all other platforms with one click
-
New mobile calendar design. We removed drag & drop from mobile as it wasn't ideal (too small/dragging hard). Now it's more in line with google calendar and works much better. It's super easy to schedule posts, and view all of your scheduled posts. You can use all the same scheduling features that you can on desktop!
Improvements
-
Made the grids planning feature more reliable with auto saving messages, and also overlays so that you can't do anything while it saves (to be safe).
-
Increased max media uploads limit.
-
Better error messages for failed posts
-
Added create post & note button to each day when viewing on mobile so it's quicker to create posts on a certain date.
-
Optimized the video saving process so it's quicker
Bugs
-
Canva integration has been fixed, was not loading in some cases.
-
Fixed hashtag limit check on Instagram as it was letting you post with more than 30 hashtags which would mean the post fails
-
Fixed issue with drag & drop now working when the calendar is viewed as weekly.
-
Fixed bug where some posts were not able to be removed.
-
Fixed issue where Pinterest boards weren't showing for team members.
-
Fixed bug with time zones not changing (when viewing on a team)
What's coming in Jan 2022!
- A mobile companion app for apple & android. The app is simply so we can utilize the push notifications and allow us to schedule carousels, stories, reels etc. Work has commenced and hoping to be live Jan.
