Here is a screenshot from Buffer. I really miss this from Pallyy and it would fully convince me to jump on a subscription. I personally like the idea of being able to schedule on the day/week in one go and window - but each social media channel act differently according to most optimal time (for example "plan next open slot". I also like to plan very specific timeslots throughout the day depending on the social media channel and would love to be able to quickly choose saved timeslots.

Steffen: Hey Steffen! Would a "Saved timeslots" feature work for this, so that you could simply add your favourite times to it, then easily select them from within the date picker or something like that? Or, would it be better to have a new "view". So instead of "calendar" we can also have "timeslots". Timeslots would essentially be a list, with the week from Monday to Sunday with the ability to add multiple "timeslot" under each day. What do you think?

Tim: Hey Tim, A saved timeslot feature would make me cry ! (in fact both ideas are great). I have already calculated when my audience is online, so i always use the same 4-6 time slots everyday (depending on the platform). If i could save those 4-6 timeslots as default and simply press the button, it would make life easier. Timeslots is the way πŸ™

Steffen: Awesome, perhaps I'll add a little icon/button next to the date selector in the top right that is also a dropdown, when you click it you can select/add a timeslot?

Tim: love it πŸ™πŸ»

Steffen: Great, one last thing - is it just the hour/min that you would want to save, or the day of week as well (mon - sun)?

Jul 4, 2022

Tim: it depends on the platform really…..ideally I would like to be able to plan my 5-6 default hours. So for twitter I have 5 usual slots. For instagram 3 (and different to twitter). Etc…. So Monday-Sunday looks the same for me - but the different platforms requires different timeslots. So day of week will give more flexibility I think.

Hey Branca Leone, What about a recently used section, so you could see like the last 5 times you've used - and easily click it from a dropdown next to the date selector?

Jan 1, 2022

Tim: I think the system could be made easier if you remove the date picker. The drag and drop feature on the calendar work very well, but you overcomplicate it by adding the date picker where it should just be about picking the right time. If you could somehow combine the "best time to post" feature and time picker then I would be very happy. In this example the date is still clickable, for those who need it. And the current time setup is highlighted on the map.

Branca Leone: So if I add perhaps a link to the best time to post chart within the scheduling window, would that work - so you can open it right there and see the best time? Also, not everyone has an Instagram connected so they can't actually see the best time to post, so we have to leave a custom date picker for them :)

Jan 2, 2022

Tim: I see, that will indeed not work for everyone. In that case I would prefer the recently used time feature instead. Is there a technical reason we cant have the other data shown as well, or is this still being worked on? On a side note, I'm truly impressed with the way you deal with these feature reqeusts. Thank you for your effort.

Branca Leone: I've put the recently used times feature onto my Trello to-do board, so I'll get around to it hopefully mid-Jan (got some big features we're working on right now that have priority). We only have Instagram data because we started out as an Instagram analytics tool, however we would like to add other platforms in as well. The issue here is time haha, analytics is very time consuming! Oh, you're welcome! We're always happy to discuss new features with our community, after all - you're who we made the platform for!

Tim: Thanks for your reply! There's no rush on my part. If your looking for someone to test run some features or to give feedback. I'm more than happy to assist in any way possible.

Branca Leone: Thanks so much Branca, appreciate it & will reach out if we need some testing!
