The issue is with Instagram's API for this one. They only allow 30 hashtag searches per 7 days, so that doesn't allow much. One thing I could do is gather the hashtags from similar terms, but you wouldn't be able to see the data on them - like "5k posts" or anything like that. I do hope Instagram does extend their hashtag section so we can do something like this properly!
Or another option, I could pull your hashtags used from all of your previous posts and show those to you, as you might re-use hashtags often?
Tim: I would be interested in knowing which hashtags work and which don’t (per each post). That includes which tags bring new followers, likes, reach etc all the standard metrics. I do understand that it might be difficult but could we build a path from the pulled data like this: ig-user found my post via hashtag (reach) => user liked the post => visited my profile => started to follow etc. Could that work?
Frank Russi: Unfortunately it wouldn't work - as Instagram doesn't provide that kind of data. They don't show any data in relation to where your new followers came from 🙁.
Tim: Perhaps integrations or offering something similar to these: https://ritetag.com/ https://sproutsocial.com/features/social-media-listening/ Really love Pally and I see potential in it growing!
Arielle: Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into them and see what I can do!
Arielle: flick hashtags is a favourite of mine
Anh: Thank you for the suggestions! I see that the pricing is affordable too <3
