Different platforms require different schedules

Being able to adjust the schedule times for each platform. Example; having twitter post one hour earlier or later. Could be as simple as a +1h, -1h.

Hi Tim, thank you for responding so quickly. I personally would benefit from being able to adjust the time globally from within the settings tab. "delay 1 hour on twitter, etc" . But I also would be happy with the example below. ( i copied pasted the social icons twice, just to see if it all could fit )

Branca Leone: Alright, so I think to put in settings +1hr could be a bit confusing for some because they might accidentally choose it & then forget, then get confused as to why the post isn't going out at the selected time. I could potentially add custom times in the date picker something similar to your picture, but which time slot would we place the post on the calendar? At the time the IG post gores out, or the hour later when Twitter goes out? Also - could I ask what the use case is here & why you post 1 hour later on Twitter, if you don't mind me asking? Just so I can understand it a bit better.

Tim: I would keep only the date with timeslot on top of the top post. And if possible show only the time next to each other social post. Or a line seperator with text inbetween. For me personally im trying to maximise my social channels to gain followers. Instagram is going really well because of the precise post times, Twitter not at all. With instagram I notice a major drop in engagement if I post at the wrong time. I'm assuming the same applies to other platforms as well. If you like I can run a test for a week to see if my twitter engagement increases if I post according to twitters best post times?

Branca Leone: Alright that makes sense, but in that case it's probably just as easy to create another post just for Twitter 1 hour later. Does Twitter give you the best time to post in their platform? We only have IG analytics for now, so we don't actually have the best times to post for any other platform than IG.

Tim: The Twitter timestamps are not easily shown in a simple dashboard. But they allow you to download an excel file from their analytics tab which includes al the data to figure out the best post times. I wouldn't mind creating a separate post, but right now I'm posting 2/3 times a day on FB, IG, Tw and Pinterest. So that would add up significantly if I where to adjust each post separately.

Branca Leone: Yep, that makes sense about the additional effort to do it. I had a thought, what if we had a duplicate post feature? (I've actually been thinking about this for a while to be honest.) For example, you create a post for FB, IG & Pin at 1pm. Open the post, click "Duplicate to new post", it copies the media, caption etc and in the new post only select Twitter, then schedule. Do you think that could work?

Jan 4, 2022

Tim: I think that feature would come in handy either way, so definitely!

Branca Leone: Great, well if you're happy with that - I'll close this ticket and create a new one for this duplicate post feature?

Hey Branca Leone, If we were to add this feature, how would we display it on the calendar? Do we put it on the time from Instagram, or Twitter for example?
